Hi,
I am trying to understand industry vertical SAP IS-OIL. I have got oppurtunity to work for a project(upstream) which implemented SAP JVA(JOINT VENTURE ACCOUNTING).I am trying to get exposure in SAP-JVA.
When i go through the Documentation on SAP IS -OIL, i haven't found anything about SAP-JVA.The entire documentation available in help site talks about PRA when it comes to upstream.
Can anyone explain me about the UPSTEAM functionalities supported by SAP IS OIL and how SAP JVA is relevant to UPSTREAM opertations?how SAP JVA differs from PRA (PRODUCTION AND REVENUE ACCOUNTING)
Hi Gopy,
even though JVA is an important piece of SAP's IS-OIL upstream solution, it is technically separate from IS-OIL Upstream and delivered as part of SAP R/3 enterprise solution.
If you look for documentation, go to mySAP ERP (not to industry solutions). You find it under Cross-Application Components.

Claus
