AFO and RRI via standard SAP Logon

Experts,

Currently we are migrating from BEx to AFO. In a Bex workbook you can have a report to report interface (RRI) where targets are maintained in BW in tx RSBBS. From the current BEx report you can jump to a transaction SAP ECC, using the SAP logon. In AFO the RRI starts a web interface, but we need it to start in the SAP Logon. How can we do this? In the AFO config file and tx RSBBS we did not find any parameters to enable this.

Hello Bart,

Analysis for Office has always been a sender but not receiver till version AO 2.2,

Now with latest version AO 2.3, targets for AO as well is maintained in  transaction RSBBS which requires few upgrades.

In this case the RRI from/to AFO is working from the BEx query. But when jumping from AFO to SAP this can now only be done via the web variant of the SAP logon. We want the standard SAP logon to be working like it before in Bex.

So question still stands: How could we achieve this?

Hi Bart,

I think it hasn't something to do with Analysis Office because my BEx Analyzer also open the web variant. I think it has somthing with the SAP Release to do. I use a SAP BW 7.4 SP7

Hello Bart,

This can be achieved only by web variant for now, and it is possible only after recent BW upgrade (respective patches list can be found in above mentioned note) .
