Dear All,

I used to use ASIQ16 without SP. Last week, I installed the ebf26010 to upgrade it to ASIQ16 SP10... Then I found the SCC out of work as can't open perspective window --

I've searched the "support" portal for this error message... but find nothing. Would anyone share your ideas on this issue?

Thanks in advance for any help

Regards

Eisen

And if want to register resource, it will show error as no "resource type" found

In the gateway.log -- we can also see the error messages --

Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Could not locate SCCMO resource type

        at com.sybase.ua.services.scc.SccService.getSCCMO(Unknown Source)

        at com.sybase.ua.services.scc.SccService.retrieveApplicationManagedObject(Unknown Source)

        at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method)

        at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(NativeMethodAccessorImpl.java:62)

There is also no KB for this error...

Hi,

Could you create a new perspective and delete the default.

1. Creating a new perspective (in which the already added resources were visible in the Resource Explorer view)

2. Adding them to the new Resource Explorer.

3. Deleting the default perspective.

If the SCC is 3.2.6 and below, please install the latest version of SCC(ex 3.2.7).

And let me know if the problem is still happening.

Hi Jang,

Yeah... I tried and it can bring me an empty perspective window created... But it still can't work as that "resource type" in register is still vacant... as the pic 2 shows.

    Thanks

Hi,

The java.lang.IllegalArgumentException should indicate that the related resource cannot be find.

There are some resources are not install correctly.

Also Check SCC agent.log, repository.log and event Viewer for the OS

So the SCC is still unavailable now... But the cockpit looks good, so it's not a big issue now. And thank you again.
