Release scenario in FM is not working

Former Member

Hello FM experts

I have configured release scenario in BCS but when try to release budget it gives me error  as below:

The budget amount is not sufficient for release

Message no. FMKU083

Diagnosis

The Non-Eligible released budget is greater than the Non-Eligible consumable budget for FM account assignment 1001/F186001000.

Please note that the absolute value of the amount is specified. Even if the actual amount is negative, the comparison will always be made with the positive value.

  • (Absolute) Total Non-Eligible released budget = 10,000.00
  • (Absolute) Total Non-Eligible consumable budget = 0.00

System Response

Processing stops. The error is displayed in the application log.

Procedure

There are two options for further processing:

  • You can post a further amount to be included in the Non-Eligible budget.
  • You can decrease the amount of Non-Eligible released budget to be posted.

Can anyone help ...this is very urgent please

Kanu

Hi Aleksey

I have no FUND and or Fund type

I have FC and CI only.......I followed the steps as below:

1.Activated Release Budget Scenario

2. Define Budget type for release

3. Assign budget type to processes (Enter, Return and supplement)

4. Also in status control define release status

But still getting errors

Hi, as I wrote in previous post "did you define Budget type for consumption per Fund or Fund type?".

In IMG- Budget Control System (BCS)-Budgeting-Basic Settings-Definition of Budget Data-Budget Types-Define Budget Type for Consumable Budget

Hi

Here I can find

  1. Budget type for group

  2. Budget type for consumption per fund type

  3. Budget type for consumption per fund

But I have no fund type and fund...so what to define? and how it is related to FC & CI to release?
