Production Version link to Customer

Hi Friends

My Client uses Make To Stock scenario.

Their Finished product FERT1 has two alternate BOM's.

When the FERT1 is Produced by Alternate BOM 1 then it should be delivered only to Customer 1.

When the FERT1 is Produced by Alternate BOM 2 then it should be delivered only to Customer 2.

Is there a way to link the Production versions to the Customer or any other ways to achieve this.

Client dont want to go for Make To Order Scenario.

Hello

It is not possible to link a production version to a customer. In fact, on a MTS scenario, there is no reference to the customer on the planned orders.

There is a BAdI which can be used to implement a custom logic to select the production version. See the blog for details.

I came across the concept of Parameter Effectivity to link the product to specific Customer.Will the Parameter Effectivity address the Make to Stock scenario OR will it address only Make to Order scenario.
