End user Login allows customization in Config mode

Hi All,

GRC 10.1 SP13

Even though i have tick marked  'Do not allow Personalization...', in WD_GLOBAL_SETTING, the end user is able to append &SAP-CONFIG-MODE=X, in end user login URL, and starts performing customization.

How do i resolve this.

Hi Plaban,

Check the same option for application configuration GRAC_OIF_REQUEST_SUBMISSION_EU.It also requires object key.Screenshot attached.

But when you check this option it will not allow to drag/adjust columns in Access request form from end user link.Check from your end.

Just did a test in my system. Please find below the authorizations to restrict

S_DEVELOP

S_WDR_P13N

Hi Plaban,

Objects S_DEVELOP or S_WDR_P13N  can be used to restrict users from entering the customizing mode on appending &sap-config-mode=X to the URL.

Ensure that the end users are restricted for these objects so that they do not enter the customizing mode.

Hi Plaban,

This is working as per design. Appending the string &SAP-CONFIG-MODE=X to the end user login URL will change to customizing mode and any user will be able to personalize the links even if Do not allow personalization is checked in WD_GLOBAL_SETTING

I think there is no way of restricting users from appending this string to the URL.
