The proxy server could not handle the request GET /b1s/v1. - Service Layer

Hi

I have just loaded Business One for Hana 9.1 PL12 and turned on CORS in the service layer

Now when I try the following url to test the service layer ->

https://192.168.1.11:50000/b1s/v1

I get ->

Proxy error - The proxy server could not handle the request GET /b1s/v1

If I remove the 2 lines I added from the b1s.conf file I still get the same error ( restarted the service )

I have attached a screenshot of the b1s.conf file

If I run https://192.168.1.11:50000/ that runs fine.

I am very new to the service layer so I could be doing something silly

Can anyone suggest anything please ?

thanks

Andy

    Hi Andrew,

I can see a mistake in your b1s.conf file.

In the "LicenseServer" line you have added a ' just before the ",".

Having such wrong caracters in b1s.conf file can make Service Layer not to start correctly and that's why you cannot access anymore Service Layer path.

Please fix the problem and let us know if the path "https://.../b1s/v1 can be then accessed.

After that for configuring CORS you need to put the address of the service accessing SL with CORS.

You have put port 50000 but this is Service Layer port, you need to put for example your HANA XS port (8000 for http or 4330 for https). You can also make a test with "*" in a first step to see if it works.

    Hope this helps,

    Trinidad.
