Error while editing the variable's formula

Hi All,

I have an attribute for which i'm trying to edit its variable definition in report level.

In dev instance the formula used in variable validates successfully ( PFA: Vari Def Pass.JPG) however when I try in Stg instance i get the an  error (Variable def error.JPG)

Can anyone assist?

is this happening with specified to this variable? try to create new with same objects.

I did that but still I'm facing the same error.

A little background I would like to give

Initially we had 2 queries in a single query Report's Query panel and later we split it into two seperate queries. in 2 different tabs.

after doing this as the variables values where error ed out( PFA) i had to redefine and when I'm trying to redefine this is happening

check both objects should be from same webi query

They are from two separate queries.

however its working in dev but not in stage

everything is same  though

If these are coming from two queries and recheck about the merged dimension.check merged dimensions are same as dev webi report.
