Symptom

You received the error below for Fiori app "System Recommendations" after SP update.

"Could not open app. Try again later."

In addition, the browser's Developer Tools shows the following specific error.

"Error: The specified component controller 'com.sap.solman.sysrec.Component' could not be found!"

Run SM_WORKCENTER (Fiori Launchpad) and click on the Fiori app "System Recommendations".

Cause

The component controller for the Fiori App "System Recommendations" is incorrectly set.

Resolution

Prerequisites: Ensure that the following NetWeaver Gateway services are activated.

/UI2/PAGE_BUILDER_CONF

/UI2/PAGE_BUILDER_CUST

/UI2/TRANSPORT

You may refer to the IMG Activity Documentation described in the IMG Activity below to activate the services.

After the services are activated, follow the steps below to correct the component controller for Fiori App

"System Recommendations".

Run TCode /UI2/FLPD_CUST

Click on the Catalog "Change Management"

Select "Target Mappings"(right pane)

Select the Action "UISMMySAPNotes"

Click on "Configure"

Change the Component entry from "com.sap.solman.sysrec" to "sm.sysrec.mynotes"

Click on "Save"
