Whether ECC EHP6 is compatible with SAP BW 7.4 or 7.5?

Hi All,

We have customer who is using ECC EHP6 and they want to go for SAP BW and they do not want HANA database, In this case can anyone let me know what should be the compatible latest version of SAP BW, Can SAP BW 7.4 or SAP BW 7.5 system supports EHP6 ? I hope SAP BW 7.5 will run only on HANA database. Please Clarify. I have looked into the PAM but I cannot able to find out the supported version. It would be great if anyone can share the knowledge on this.

Whether we can use SAP BW 7.4 on other databases than SAP HANA, if so will what support pack level

Thanks,

Vishall Pradeep K S

We are currently on BW 7.4 and ECC EHP7, but we were on EHP6 connected to BW 7.4 and have not had any issues. We are not currently on Hana in our production instance. Here are the details: SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 6 SP Stack 11 (for ECC) and SAP Netweaver 7.4 SP09 (For BW) .

    Thank you,

    Kurt
