Business Client (NWBC 6.0): How to use Chrome & Firefox instead IE !?!

Hey,

we do great in using NWBC and now Business Client's new features. Exchanging with other NWBC-Fans here a roadblock that hit us now harder and harder.

• Calling a UI5 / WebUI Application (here a innovation prototype) in NWBC 6.0 (installed on client) it still is called inside NWBC using MSFT Internet Explorer (IE) from the Client Machine
• The called application, however, does NOT run in IE but requires other browser technologies
• From earlier SCN/Web i red that NWBC is 'hard wired' with IE ... still true for NWBC 6.0?
  (i investigated and tested (i.e. BC settings, default browser setting) without any lead to a solution)

How can we make Business Client 6.0 opening a URL in a new Business Client Tile but using i.e. Chrome or Firefox instead IE?

Hi Markus,

I am sorry to tell you that "that NWBC is 'hard wired' with IE ..." ...is still true for SAP BC 6.0.

We are aware of customers who want to use Chrome / Firefox, but at present this is not on our roadmap, since it would require a considerable development effort.
