BAPI for calculating withholding tax

Hi Experts,

With respect to doing MIRO transaction, we would like to use BAPI for calculating withholding tax with reference to Purchase Order. Already i tried to used bapi BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE & BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST but i could not able to calculate withholding tax. So could you suggest that which BAPI should be used with respect to calculating the withholding tax in MIRO transaction.

Your prompt response will be highly appreciated.

Thanks & Regards,

Varun Kumar

    Dear Varun,

Do you want to calculate the withholding tax amount or you want to simulate the FI posting ?

Both transaction you need to inform the Withhloding Tax information in tables

WITHTAXDATA and ACCOUNTWT. Those BAPIs do not calculate by themselves selecting Vendor WHT information. You have to do that and inform on those table.

      Hi Gabriel,

Thanks for your help on above issue & it is really helpful.

I have one query regarding this that i have passed the all parameter in FI_DOCUMENT_CHECK, what u have said in above, but how can i generate document number with respect to above parameter.

Actually our requirement is to upload the excel file for MIRO transaction in customise transaction code & once we execute then system should calculate the TDS on above passed parameter.

so please tell me next procedure to go ahead wrt generate document number.

      Thanks & Regards,

      Varun Kumar
