The Preferences -->General selection allows one to choose the columns to display on the Documents Tab.
Is there a way to set these columns to a specific width so upon opening they stay at this width?

According to the BI Workspaces User Guide :
The default BI launch pad home page is read-only.
You can create a new workspace and customize it as you see fit.
