Failed DM package that calls Process Chain

Hi Gurus,

We are using CPMBPC-810-0009-SAPK-81009INCPMBPC-SAP Business Planning and Consolidation

One of the user run a DM package that calls process chain and it failed this is in Test environment, same is true in Production.

Strange part is, he did run the same DM in Development having the same access but it was successfully.

So I went to the logs of the process chain and i found this error log. But as I've check with security team, the user is having the same access. across environments.

The error log of the process chain tells that it doesn't have authorization, but it did. The team assigned the user with the same security profile across environments and the user can perform the DM in development, but not in Test and Production.

I hope i relay the issues clearly, if not i'll be more that happy to provide additional info.

Thanks as always

much obliged,

Emmanuel

What about BW security? The issue here is not the access to BPC objects, but to DSO

    Hi Emmanuel,

Most authorization issues can be resolved by tracing the problem with t/a ST01. The trace should show you which authorization check failed and what parameters were checked there.

    Regards,
