Multi level Leave Request Approval Error - Stop auto approval

Dear Experts,

We are implementing multi level leave approval process in ESS and gone through link Configurations for enabling Multiple approvers for Leave Request

We have implemented PT_ABS_REQ BADI and also made required changes in V_T554S_WEB.

Do we need to provide workflow template here or task TS21500003 ?

After raising a request , the leave request is getting auto approved.

Can we please know what would be the reason and how to resolve the same and also do we need to check the OM part also ?

You have to keep workflow template id itself.

For auto approval issue, check that leave type settings In table V_T554S_WEB

Requests Have To Be Approved option should be checked

From OM side make sure that 002 relationship is maintained from employee position to his manager position.

thanks for the reply, please find the screen shot below of the view.

Only change i could see is " No changes to Leave Permitted " is checked. Would this make a big difference ?

Leave settings looks fine.

Did you check the workflow template and task are made general task ?

to trigger workflow that workflow template and task should be made as general task.

Made both workflow template and task as general task, got below message.

And raised a leave request , it got auto approved.

you are not using the correct absence for the employee in his rule group

Check in webmo feature where the employee is assigned to

You can check via PTARQ>

Your customisation looks good for the absence only ensure its correctly assigned to the employee and your BADI doesnt do auto approval etc
