Windows 7 update KB3161608 affects SBO ver 9

Hi all

Another security certificate error when Windows 7 update KB3161608 with SAP Business One version 9.

    You can either remove this update or upgrade to 9.1 PL10+.

    The real solution is this (anything else is only temporary):

    1. gpedit.msc on START-RUN

    2. Expand Computer configuration

    3. Expand Administrative Template

    4. Network Network

    5. Expand SSL Configuration

    6. Enable SSL Cipher Order and copy (with thanks to MingBo!) his entry to the front of the Cipher Order.

    TIP add a comma to the existing and then copy this in front of the comma.

    TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA256,TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA,TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA384,TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA,TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_RC4_128_SHA,TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA256,TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA,TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA256, TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA,SSL_RSA_WITH_RC4_128_SHA

    7. Restart

    I've done this about 10-20 times and it works.

    Good morning, today some of our customers have called us saying that after updates microsoft made the windows 7 operating system version 9.1 does not work. In particular, it does not come out the list of companies when run sap. The updates were installed on roughly 4 09/14/2016 day. You have to uninstall the update to fix the problem is the KB3117605. Good job everyone.

      Thanks for sharing!

      Windows 7 update 3172605 dated 14 Sep 2016 also has the same problem with version 9 and all affected users cannot see Company Names in login screen.

      It will auto update the next day again after removal if did not change the Windows Update to NOT automatically update.
