Instance Manager page issue...

Hi guys,

I have an issue with Instance Manager in Central Management Console (CMC)

Environment:

  • SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI
  • Product: 12.1.0

We have 320 recurring reports in Instance Manager and it's listed over 4 pages.

Pages 1,2 and 4 displays fine but the 3rd one is always empty regardless of the coulomb I sort it by:

What might cause this and how can I fix this?

    try following steps:-

    1. removing tomcat cache and restarting tomcat.
    2. Use Administrator to login and check instance manger.
    3. Use different Environment Tomcat to and login with this CMS Name and check instance manger.
    4. use Different Browser.
    5. login to server and user url:- http://localhost:8080/BOE/CMC and check the behavior.
    6. if none of them works try redeploying BOE war file.

    Strange... :-) please try the options mentioned by Raunak. time being use query builder to get the details.

    Hello Gerrie,

    According to this KBA :

    1339948 - Instance Manager does not list all data when total number of pages is two or more

    The issue was fixed in Service Pack 3.

    It also mentions a query to use in the Query Builder as a workaround.

      Hi guys,

      Thanks for the suggestions. I've narrowed the issue down to 1 report by setting the 'Maximum number of objects per page' to 1 under the CMC preferences and click through the scheduled report names. Only 1 page give the "No item to display" error.

      Now how do I get that "unknown" report name to remove it from the Instance Manager?

      This "No item to display" error occurs whenever the "unknown" report should be displayed on a page under success, failed, pending, recurring or running statuses.
