URL iViews - Focus existing window instead of opening a new window

Hello All,

We are migrating SAP NetWeaver Portals from 7.01 to 7.40 SP12. We are using Fiori Launchpad as entry point for portals. We have a URL iView which opens a new window with CRM WebUI. Our requirement is to open only one session of CRM WebUI at any point of time and clicking tile again should focus existing CRM WebUI window instead of opening a new window with CRM WebUI. Right now it opens a new window with CRM WebUI for every click.

Is this possible with URL iViews? If not, Could you please let us know if this can be achieved through other means.

Hi Sudheer

You can set the Launch in New Window property of the iview to "Display in Portal Content Area", with this the iview will open only in the content area without opening any external new window.

Thanks for your reply.

Our requirement is to open CRM WebUI in an external window. We just want to restrict keep on opening new windows when there is already one open.
