SAP UI5 m Dashboard - Variable Screen not working properly

Hey guys,

after installation of newest Design Studio Version 1.6 SP2 we started to create applications with SAP UI5 m mode.

Everything is working fine except the variable screen, which is not displayed correctly. Please refer to attached image.

We have tried execution in local mode as well as via BI platform - both via Chrome and Internet Explorer 11. In Chrome a blank pop-up appears, in IE 11 a search field is displayed.

Scripting/Debugging issues have been checked, too. With no results.

We have also tried the whole thing with a very lean DS app, just containing a simple table with reference to a simple BW query as datasource. There is only one variable to fill at selection screen. When opening/integrating datasource in Design Studio, variable screen is displayed properly.

Has anyone made similar experiences and found a solution?
