Hello friends,
I know the standard reports to check the "Connection test" of an RFC through report RSRFCPIN and RSRFCCHK but I need such standared report or functional module through we can either "authorization test" only or both "Connection test" and "authorization test" of an RFC.
RFC_PING and RFC_CHECK does not exist in my system.
Hence I expect we have the reports.
Regards,
Sonal.
Hello Sonal,
What is the SAP_BASIS version and patch level from the source and target systems involved in the scenario you have described?

Isaías

Hello Isaias,
I don't understand why you need the source and target system.
I mean to say every system has some RFC connections created , so I want to test that RFC's authorization test through Report/program or functional module.
Kindly could anybody help me to get this.
I am currently testing this scenario in one system whose details are as below
SAP BASIS - 740
SP - Level - 10
SP - SAPKB74010

Sonal
Hello Sonal,
A report/function can or cannot be available at a system, depending on the version of its components.
An RFC connection/authorization test would be something related to basis.
Thus my request for the version of the SAP_BASIS component of the involved systems.
When you execute an "authorization test" at SM59 it uses the report RSRFCPIN.
It has an option to perform the "authorization test" as well.
I have verified this at a 7.40 system with SAP_BASIS SAPKB74011.

Isaías
Hello Isaias,
The report is says only the connection test and not the authorization test.
here with I am attaching the report screenshot.
Is your mean is the tab "authorization Check" is doing the authorization test.
Also here I have option to select or test only 1 RFC connection at a time but what if I need to do this test for multiple RFC's at a time.
I can not select multiple RFC's at a time for a test or can not create a variant of multiple RFC's.
Regards,
Sonal
Forgot to mention about the multiple RFCs at a time...
You can write a custom program that calls this report, passing the values for the parameters that the report RSRFCPIN needs, passing a different RFC destination at each call.
Something like:
SUBMIT RSRFCPIN
WITH <parameter> eq <value>
WITH <parameter> eq <value>
...
AND RETURN.
Regards,
Isaías
