A scheduled report failed due to incompatible objects

You guys are great! I appreciate all of your help!

I have a webi report that has been running fine for a few months. Then all of a sudden it started failing due to "Incompatible Objects".

I'm in a hosted environment so I'm not doing anything with the universe but periodically we take packages that require BIAR files to be reloaded.

My thought is that it's a context setting on some object in the universe and possibly the setting is being changed and then when the universe is reimported in the environment it brakes the connection between the universe and the report.

How can I find what object is incompatible without dissecting the report piece by piece. Could I focus on just measure objects?

Is this a universe or procedure problem

BO 4.1 sp3 on windows box.

Thanks Scott

Open the report and try to refresh.if still error come then open in rich client and try to change data source and select the same universe again and see.

    • Amit, Sorry just getting back to this. Were hosted and they changed the universe. So I'm having to spend a lot of time converting the old to the new. In regards to the issue above, my goal was to find out if this issue possibly is due to the BIAR files being imported over and over again and possibly a bad procedure there. It seems that when our vendor needs to import that BIAR files this type of issue arises.

      Thanks again!
