Chart view & Emp assignment in org?

Hi All,

I am very new to c4c.  Excuse me please as my questions are very basic ones.

1. May I know how to view the chart view of Org structure?

2. One employee should be assigned to one org unit.  Then, if an employee is assigned to sales and service roles, how to handle this use-case in org level?

Hi Nalinikanth,

1. In the Show query select "Organizational Hierarchy" instead of "All".

2. Define org unit of the employee for both Sales & Service.

Thank you Suman. 

I could not understand the second point, sorry.  If an employee handles sales and service, we have to assign the employee to sales and service org units but c4c recommends to assign an employee to only one org unit.  so there is my confusion starts. 

I will go through the links now.  Would you mind to help me out in detail please.

Hi Nalinikanth,

You can have one org unit with function Sales & Service, and that employee can be assigned to this org.

Try below approach.

Lets say you have an employee ABC need to have both Sales & Service roles.

Assign that employee to one org XYZ.

Now, Open the org XYZ -> At header click checkboxes for both Sales & Service (please see my previous screenshot to find the checkboxes) -> Save the changes done at org.

Now, with above changes the org XYZ has both roles (sales & service) which is suitable for the employee ABC.
