How to restrict the material master view based on the plant

Hi Experts,

Thanks for your valuable guidance.

I need one clarification and help....

I had display the material master field based on the plant at > SPRO > Material master > Field setting > Define plant based field setting and screen setting

But my requirement is plant based some of the material master view like ( Basic data 1, Purchasing , sales text etc… ) change to display condition, at the same time some of the  view are editable condition like ( MRP 1,2,3,4 )

Both are the requirement need based on the plant in MM02 T.CODE, If any standard setting available for screen no based ?

What is the way to customized that and give me the valuable feedback ASAP.

Hi

considering your scenario is to have access to change view: Basic Data and Sale in specific Plant; you can achieve this by creating a role for trasaction:MM02 via PFCG which plant is specified and for authorization object "STATM" select basic data, sale etc.

I am new for Role assignment , Kindly share the step by step screen shot for PFCG how to assign and change to display view like ( Basic data 1, Purchasing ) based on the plant.

Kindly share it is more help full on that.

Hi Samira,

Based on the above discussion, some of the views are change as display mode like ( Basic data 1, Purchasing) and some of the fields are in normal editable condition ( MRP 1,2,3,4 ) this requirement working based on the plant.

Kindly share the step by step screen shot, it is more help full for me.

Hi

you can achieve this by following Steps:

1. create a single role in T-code: PFCG  by pushing single role button, give it a description and Save.

2. in the "Menu" tab click on "transaction" button and add "MM03" and save.

3. in the "Authorization" tab click on "change Authorization data"; in the pop-up menu fill plant as desired and save. change role: Authorization screen will appear. in this screenfind following object: Materials Management: Master Data-->Material Master: Maintenance Statuses--> Maintenance status of material

here you can select Basic data, and Sales.

repeat these steps for MM02 and Select MRP views. you can assign these roles to desired user by T-code: SU01.

Hi Uma

go to  LG-->Material master-->configuring master-->main user setting--> view selection user industry and retail

give the screen sequence to that particualr user id

refer screen shot

we can perform authorization role select the authorization role for T-code and go the auth tab in the maintenace tab modify the view accordingly

You can acheive this requirement with authorization objects M_MATE_STA & M_MATE_WRK.
