SAP SM 7.2. Transaction asignment in Project management

Hello!

I configure standard functionality of SAP SM 7.2. SP2.

SAP Learning Hub has course SAP Solution Manager 7.2, SP01: Learning Map for Project Management.

SAP Project has the button "Create with transaction Assignment"

My demo project hasn't this button.

What settings I have to make in the project that the button has appeared?

Hi Dmitry,

First you need to map the Project task type to the ChaRM transaction type in the following IMG:

SAP Solution Manager Implementation Guide

SAP Solution Manager

Capabilities (Optional)

Change Control Management

Integration of Solution Documentation with PPM Projects and Change Request

Map Transaction Types to Task Types

After that, you need to create the relevant task type and change the task status to released.

Then, you will be able to see the button "Create transaction" and "Assign Transaction" in transaction tab.

Thanks Rohan for interest in this problem.

But I can't give access. SAP security forbieds. But the problem is in any pure SM 7.2 SP2 system.

Hello Dmitry,

Have you tried the right-mouse-click already?

In 7.2 there are often functions available from a pull-down menue using the right key of the mouse.

Which is much faster than using a button from the application window.

Hope this helps for a quick solution.

If I use the right key of the mouse I can to edit only the table fields. There are no settings of buttons.
