Special stock indicator keep getting removed when change the component in the released service order

Hi There,

We just upgrade our SAP system into SPS11 and the system behaviour was changed during update the special stock indicator on the service order's item component (system status release).

Whenever we update the special indicator from plan stock (blank) into vendor consignment stock (3) there was message appeared "Component 123**** is already released (message no. CN726)" and then the special stock indicator will be initialized/removed. Before the upgrade, the same message also appeared but the special stock indicator was not getting removed. Any idea why now SAP seem to not allow business to change this special stock indicator after the service order been released?
