Material Variant - REM - Production Version

Dear Team,

I am working with REM scenario with material variant (Variant configuration). And i have KMAT material namely C1 which has the Super BOM. From this super BOM the components for the material variant M1 to be derived for MFBF back flush.

This material variant namely M1 will not have any material BOM because its components are derived from super BOM of C1.

In REM scenario, I need to create production version for BOM + routing for material variant M1.  But I do not have BOM for M1.

Q1: Will this be right approach to create production version for M1 (Material Variant) WITHOUT BOM?

Q2: What is the suggested approach to create production version for material variants?

Dear All,

Got the answer.... Assigned the KMAT material (C1) super BOM to material variant (M1) in CS40 & For routing in CA02 , in material assignment assigned the material variant M1.
