Subreport causing performance issue

Hi,

I have added a subreport to my report and have noticed that the loading time became considerable after this change, the subreport is linked to the report via a unique Id.

Please advice how to avoid this and if there is an equivalent way to do without subreports knowing that I am displaying with the subreport from a list of records the most recent one based on the Ids of the table.
