SAP BW 7.5 compatible with SAP BEx WAD ?

Hi

One of our recent client is implementing SAP BW 7.5 for its Corporate Office.

The Client already has SAP BI implemented for few of its Plants and hence is using /aware of SAP BEx WAD.

Now for this new implementation which in all possibility will be of SAP BW 7.5, the Client is interested in knowing whether they can use SAP BEx WAD on top of SAP BW 7.5.

I tried searching the internet for this but could not get any concrete information hence decided to write here.

During my internet search, I found information like if SAP BEx Suite version is 7.0 then we can use it with SAP BW 7.5.

I wish to know whether

1. The above mentioned information is true ?

2. If NOT then does SAP provide SAP BEx 7 Suite with SAP BW 7.5 in the same package/License or will the Client have to pay extra for SAP BEx 7.0 Suite ?

3. If none of my above mentioned findings are true then, What is that we need to do to be able to use SAP BEx WAD with SAP BW 7.5 ?

FYI, the Client is NOT interested in investing in SAP BO.

Please share with me some links from SAP which I can share with the Client to support my information regarding this scenario.

Your questions are more non-technical. I do recommend you to check with your Vendor.

About WAD, I suspect you mean BI Java.

WAD is Web Application Designer, a Front End tool that is valid to use for BW since BW 7.00 (Netweaver 2004s).

I have system on SAPK-75004INSAPBW. We do have a BI Java Portal and I'm able to create WAD templates and tun on BI Java Portal
