Hi All,

Requesting for your kind assistance in connection to this urgent concern:

Scenario: No Sales-Based Rent for posting due to low sales for the period

Query: Is there any negative effect on other REFX programs if we execute tcode RESRSE until update run mode for contracts with this kind of scenario?

Points will be given to helpful/correct inputs.

Thanks and Best Regards,

Ferdie

Anyone?

The reason why we want to execute RESRSE until update run mode for this scenarios (even if there's no document to be posted) is to have tcode RESRSECORRECT as the tcode to be used in posting adjustments.

As per observation, once we executed the RESRSE until simulation mode only and after a certain period of time there's changes in contract (e.g. rate, lease area) resulting to a sales-based rent for posting, posting of that adjustment can only be made through RESRSE and not in RESRSECORRECT.

On the other hand, if execution of RESRSE was made until update run mode (even if there's no document to be posted), and after a certain period of time there's changes in contract (e.g. rate, lease area) resulting to a sales-based rent for posting, RESRSE can't be used in posting the sales-based rent due to this changes. In this case, RESRSECORRECT should already be used to post the SBR.

The question is: Is it ok to execute RESRSE until update run mode even if there no document to be posted?

HI Ferdz,

for this scenario, the system will calculate whatever your parameter is..it will also takes care even your calculated parameter is zero..the system will lock the month in sales report wherein it is part or your settlement..it is right that the RESRSECORRECT needs to be executed if there are changes happen to the lock reported sales which result a different version..Also, if you dont do ny changes after the month has also setlled..you can always have the certified sales settlement where the system recalculatea your reported vs certified.
