Upgrading R/3 4.6c to ecc 5.0 any issues in Variant configuration

The client is upgrading from 4.6c to ecc 5.0, will Variant configration have any issues in upgradation.

Hi Ajay,

Yes, there will some issue there for variant configuration.

If you have chance, have a look at SAP Note 626408 on how to Restoring variants during the release upgrade.

Dear Asay,

Do you mean Variant Configuration in relation to Configurable Service Products? If so, we have been told by our consultants that since it is Master Data it should not be an issue. Of course, you always have to test.
