Dynamic Configuration.

Hi,

My scenario is FTP to Proxy,I have written the dynamic configuration in message mapping by creating one extra file name field, which(file name field) I have not used in File content conversion, so here my doubt is: in message monitoring am able to see the file with file name field delivered to client, but in the archive is not showing that field.

Any answers...

Thanks,

Vijay.

This is the correct behavior. There is no transformation involved in archiving, whether you use fcc or not.

This means that the original file is what you will see in the archive directory.

If you want to save the transformed file, then split the message into two by having two receivers in receiver determination. The second receiver will have a file comm channel that points to the archive directory.

Thanks Faith and Mark.

@ Mark:

To understand more....the archive in the sender communication channel is the source file which client is sending to us?

and if the archive is in the receiver communication channel means it is the transformed file after mapping?

Thanks,

Vijay.

Hi Vijay,

Yes, that is correct. For the receiver communication channel, there is no archiving. Think of it as writing the full(transformed) file in the archive folder.

Got it thank you very much. So if we want to check the source/input file sent from the client...we can see that in archive right.

and what about if we want to archive the transformed/target file?

Yes, you need to check the archive for the source file. Now, if you want the target file to be archived/saved, use another receiver (business component) with a file receiver comm channel pointing to the directory you want to use.

Hi Vijay,

Have you set it up to archive in the communication channel.

Thanks,
