Search tool for BI/BOBJ data

I was able to create a WEBI report that looks like it does a "search" by filtering the data, but it is not a true search. My client wants to be able to search multiple items across report columns. I don't think webi is an appropriate tool for the job. Can anyone tell me the best SAP solution for searching BI data? (Multicubes etc) Does Lumeria  or Fiori have this functionality?

What exactly you want to search? Can you please elaborate the issue in more detail?

I have a multicube that contains an info cube and two infosets. I created a webi report fed from this data that includes employee, education level (degree), school, and skills.

I need to be able to search for multiple degrees, multiple school and multiple skills.

I was able to set up three reports in WEBI: A search for a single item. across all fields. A multiple item search that can filter on an item and another item, for example a BSc and Excel. The third report filters three items, but all three input controls must be completed. For example, filter on BSc or a university or Excel.

The client would like to be able to search for a BA or BSc and Excel and French language etc.

There is no way I can trick webi into filtering using Boolean search parameters.

Might this be of little help. Have  a look:

Yes, this is the trick that I used to filter the reports I made. What I'm looking for is alternative tool that I can use. Like Lumira (if that works) or something that was an actual search engine, not a trick.
