Mass assignment of employees to Org Structure

Hi All,

I have about 500+ employees that need to be assigned to a node in my Org Structure. When we exported the Employee and User Data migration template, there is a section (Sales Responsibility) to assign them. However, there is one field called 'Distribution Channel Code' that is mandatory - we don't know how and where to fill this in as I don't think we've created one.

Does anyone know where I can get this code from or how I can fill this in?

Also, is this the best way of mass updating employees to assign them to an Org Structure node?
