Hello Friends,

While doing Sales Order settlement as Cost object, I am getting this error in VA88. I've assigned this Cost element in OKG4 for Category "E".

Can you pls share your inputs.

Diagnosis

You made an account assignment with cost element 931004. In controlling area Order/project results analysis this cost element has type Order/project results analysis.

System Response

Cost elements of this type cannot be posted in transaction Actual settlement.

Procedure

Use a different cost element or check the cost element type.

Hi Hoysala,

Cost element category 31 is used only for technical assignment in OKG4 and OKG8 transaction codes and shouldn't use as a settlement account in allocation structure.

for settlements use category 21 in allocation structure.

Please check your cost element category, t.code KA02. For settlement, please use 21//22 cost element category type.
