Equipment-Plan of maintenance (PM-MM)

Dear SAP Experts,

I would like some help about equipment and their plan of maintenance.

If I transfers my equipment in another division, is that I need to modify the division of planning?

Or it is possible to transfer an equipment and let a different division of planning ? Are there consequences ?

Equipment 10 in Division : 0010 (transfer) -------> Equipment is now in Division 0018

Division of planning : 0010 -------> Division of planning : 0010 or 0018 ?
