How to run the same job by connecting to different datastore

Hi,

I have a application which stores data in oracle database. The application is installed in 3 different locations (say India, France and Germany).

The requirement is to extract the data from each location, transform it and store it in a CENTRALISED location (say USA).

I have created a job where the source datastore connection is India and the target datastore connection is USA..

How can I run the same job again which will point to a different source datastore connection (France and Germany)?

I am new to BODS. I assume we can parametise the job but not sure how to do it.

Can you suggest how to do the setup for th above scenario in BODS?

Thanks

Saty

Hi Satyajit,

You can achieve this by setting multi data store configurations in Data store and by setting system configurations.

Please refer below link for multi data store configuration.

Below link is for system configurations

Thanks,

Hi Satyajit Sinha,

Please create remaining two source configurations [ France, Germany ] in the same Data store which you are using in the single job.

While executing the job, please select required System config and execute. This will extract data as per your requirement.
