we have following scenario and I would like to know options available and also get some insights if any one using the same approach.
Payroll > for Payroll we will be using SAP ERP on HANA (employee master/HCM)
Finance > for Finance we will be using SAP S4HANA on-premise 1511
Based on install/config guide SAP says we should use ALE for employee master data transferring from HCM system to S4HANA and it says that we need to have same HCM config on both systems. Additionally SAP mentioned in some documents for the S/4HANA on-premises edition, SAP will provide packaged integration's feed SAP ERP HCM data to the S/4HANA employee mini-master... with this I have following questions
#1. are those packaged integration's available? where can we download?
#2. best options/ways do to make sure HCM config is same in both systems (ERP and S/4) or will that packaged integration address this ?
if not can we ask functional team to use BC sets and get that config synced from ERP system to S/4 or any best options??
#3. ALE transfer works or any other special steps needs to be performed as HCM will be on ERP system and Finance will be on S/4HANA
