Work Manager and PM Data synchronization without SMP

Hello all,

I am answering a RFI about EAM mobile solution and one of the requirements is to have data synchronized directly with the SAP ECC without the need of an intermediate data server.

Is it possible to synchronize work manager to PM without SMP? Any plan to have it on this way?
