Hello,
We have a requirement to deploy one of the SAP fiori apps for demo. We don't have SMP and aren't planning to install one.
We intend to access the app from mobile device, using SAP fiori client. Question is can we preset the Launchpad url, company logo, authentication (like password cache or SSO) in the fiori client without using SMP.
I saw few post related to this and they seem to suggest that we have to have SMP for any kind of customization to standard fiori client, but those post are atleast a year old. Does anyone know if its possible or has done it?
Thanks,
Nishit
Once you've successfully connected to the Launchpad using the standard Fiori client it will persist this path for subsequent logins, but I am under the impression that you need to build a custom client with the associated config information in order to pre-define the path, and the icon.
BTW - if you are just interested in showing the experience of the Fiori Client, the demo mode works very nicely and showcases the SAP Fiori, cloud edition.

Thanks Jeremy!
Yes you are right, we need to custom build the app per our organizations standards/compliance. Cloud is not an option for us. Basically we are trying to gauge the infrastructure needed to have this working along with the demo. So really the question comes to what is needed (from infra stand point) to customize this fiori client (or any other fiori app for that matter) and prepare a deployable mobile app that can be put on the mobile app store. Where can we get the source code for SAP fiori client?
