Hi All,

I need to change an existing Routine that was implement for SD in VOFM Transaction, While changing this it is asking for an Acess key.

Long time back i have changed the same Routine but it didn't ask for Acess key as per my rememberence.  Is it Acess key Really Required to change it ??

Is any other way of doing it with out KEY

Please Suggest

Regards,

Lokesh

Yes you need access key to change that VOFM routine if the system has been upgraded.

You can anytime use enhancement to your existing routine if you do not need access key, but that can only be done at the begining of the form or at the end.

Hope this helps.

Hi Gaurav,

Thanks for your Reply.

Actually Installation numbers is showing differently for the Routine. While Creation of routine Installation number was different to now while changing the same.

Whether the system is changed in between these days ??

If you create a new development system for an upgrade project (so a new installation number) you should consider relocation of your customer developed objects.

Hint: perform some search on Transports of Copies and Relocations

Just to add some information - when you register an object, you enter the object type/name, release and installation. As long as these values do not change, the key does not need to be re-entered. But as soon as any of the fields change, the old key can no longer be used.

A local Basis admin should know the reason for the installation number change.
