Transfer Order split as per location

Hi All,

There are 2 locations. Location A contains M,N,O storage types & location B contains P,Q,R storage types. The requirement is to split TO based on location A & B.

We can split the TO based on storage types as per standard configuration but is there a way to split TO based on locations as given above by standard configuration without going for an enhancement.

Thanks.

Hello Jajati,

Are both the storage locations linked to the same Warehouse ? If then try to use the To Split based on the Picking Areas.

You may define One Picking Area per location. That should work.

Thanks,

Hi Sai Arala,

Here I am talking about a location which contains a set of storage types. In this case one location has a set of storage type and another location has another set of storage types. This is not a storage location. These are basically areas inside a single warehouse. The warehouse is the same.

The splitting needs to be done in such a way that one location has a single TO & another location has another unique TO. I hope my requirement is clear.

Thanks.

Hello Jajati,

Then Assign all the Storage Bins of Location A to Picking Area ABC and All storage bins of Location B to Picking Area XYZ and define the Sort Profile based on the Picking Area.

Thanks,

Hi Sai  Arala,

I have mentioned splitting of TO based on group of storage types. One group contains M,N,O storage types & another group contains P,Q,R storage types. The requirement is to split the TO based on group.

Thanks

Hi

What Sai is saying is to group all storage bins for area A (stypes M, N & O) into picking area "ABC" and all bins for area B (stypes P, Q & R) in to picking area "XYZ" and define the TO split by picking area.

Cheers

Hello Jajati,

Android is correct. That is what I was trying to explain you. Do you have any challenge in maintaining such scenario ?

Thanks,

Sai Arala.
