Inspection type 03

Hello All,

We have below requirement,

1) For inspection type 03, Inspection lot created regardless of material same as like for inspection type 04.

2) For this, we want to mass transfer of present inspection plan for inspection type 04 to inspection type 03.

Anyone has worked on such scenario? Please help out by providing your comments to achieve this requirement.

Hi Naresh,

The first point is not much clear. Please explain in brief.

The second point, there are inspection plan for inspection type 04. But, no inspection plan for inspection type 03. The only allowed task lists for inspection type 03 is the Master Recipe (task list type 2) and Routing (task list type N). But, if seems like you need to check the same set of inspection characteristics for inspection type 03 which you inspect for inspection type 04. There are no mass transaction for such activity. But, you can use following steps to copy the set of characteristics.

1. Go to characteristics overview screen of your routing/master recipe of the required operation/phase

2. Follow the menu Edit >> Copy Characteristics (ctrl + f9) and a message will appear

"Data will be copied after the cursor position (characteristic XXXX)"

3.  Ignore the message by enter. A pop-dialog box will appear.

4. In this pop-up dialog box, choose your inspection plan as a reference and enter.

5. System will show another pop-up dialog box with all characteristics available in the reference inspection plan.

6. Select all and click on ok button(copy)

7. The characteristics will get copied. Save the master recipe / Routing.

you can automate this by recording the above mentioned steps in LSMW for mass update.
