Side by Side Configuration is Incorrect

I've spent more money and time trying to get the free trial of Crystal Reports 2013 Desktop installed on Windows 10, but here's another try.

I download the free trial of Crystal Reports 2013 Desktop.  The file name downloaded is 51050534.zip.

I extracted the file and ran setup.exe in the CrystalReports directory.  The install did not have a problem.

After, I try to run Crystal Reports 2013 from the All apps start menu.

The application does nothing.  No screen.  No error message.  No nothing.

So I execute SAP Crystal Reports 2013 directly from the short cut and get the message, "C:\Program Files (x86) .... crw32.exe  The application has failed to start because the side by side configuration is incorrect."

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the product several times.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the c++ redistributable. No luck.  No change in outcome.

SAP has no suggestions for me except to keep posting messages here.

I've paid a freelance online tech support to try to fix the problem.  No luck after two techs.

I have to get this running.

Thank you.  I took a bit but once all the c++ redistributables were unloaded, download, and reinstalled, and then Crystal uninstalled and reinstalled, it worked.  While I am  grateful, it is a disgrace that a user should need to go through this to try the product.
