Creating a filed with link to customer

Hi pros,

I would like to make a field for Individual client selection. But now I get PartyID showing up in this field instead of Individual customer name. I used OVS component /BYD_COD/SalesOnDemand/Account/UI/COD_Account_SOVS.OVS.uicomponent

How can I make the field to show Individual customer name as a link to that customer?

Best regards,

Nadezhda Rukavishnikova

    Hello Nadezhda,

You need another field (link) with the customer name. This field should have a its text property pointing to customer name but its value pointing to customer ID. Also, it the correspondent field in Datamodel, it should be set to ThingTypeMode "static" and associated to the COD_Account_TT screen.

    Regards,

    Alexandre.

    Hi

If you want to show name instead of ID, then in ovs outport pass name.

Or in aftermodify you can write query with PartyID(internalID) and get the Formattedname from CurrentCommon node..

If you want to set as a link then add a new data model field and set its property as link. and now write logic in after modify and query using ID and get the formatted name and assign to the new field.

    Regards

    Sunil
