how to handle subs in subs from jasper in CR?

Hi everybody,

I reached a level now, from which I know that it is not possible in CR.

I have numerous subreports in a subreport in jasper and I read that this cannot not be realized in CR.

Is there a common approach or a workaround?

Yes, sub report with in a sub report is not supported, but if you are executing these reports on BO Enterprise, you can use Open Document reporting, this is based on a URL, but it will not display the results unless you click on URL.

Hi Eberhard,

Nested subreports are not supported with Crystal Reports.

You'd need to re-design the SQL such that all or at least most of the data is returned in the Main Report.

Hi Abhilash,

that means, I have a problem for all those, because I don´t know the database (assyst) very well at all.

And how to create the sql statements without knowing too much of the db? 

I just learned how to handle parameters and functions in CR and now that!
