FM to get current PI logical system

What is the name of the FM to get the current PI logical system? So that we don't need to build the logical system name across the environments like dev to QA to pre--prod or prod.

Hello Pratik

Why would you need to know the logical system name? When the BASIS people configures the connection between the PI and the ECC everything should run smoothly, wheter you use RFCs or Proxy communication the PI logical system name is not needed.

Hello,

Actually ABAP needs to know the logical system during population of control structure of an idoc. We do not want to hard code. As far as I remember there is a FM which gives us the current PI logical system.

How would a function module tell a logical system used for PI from any other logical system? Are you sure such FM exists in standard SAP?

Why do you need to keep separate LS names? Anyways the RFC connection will be different. So, why don't you call your PI system with the same name in all systems?
