Requirement is to enable the Leave Request and Leave Request Approval applications from Java to WD ABAP. I am able to see all the webdynpro components of FPM available in the backend.
Below steps are done.
Now the link is available in Working time of ESS.
However when I click the same it give webdynpro error as below.
The URL call http://erpdev.abcd.xyz.com:1070/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/LeaveRequest was terminated because of an error.
The following error occurred in system XYZ : Web Dynpro application LEAVEREQUEST does not exist.
Leave request WDA service is active in SICF

Hi jwala,
Thank you for your reply. But we have lot of other things configured in Homepage framework and we don't have the bandwidth to reconfigure everything from LPD_CUST.
Can you suggest if we can proceed with the same.
Application parameters in the iview is blank.
Please see the screenshot of the error when clicked on Hyperlink.
Thanks,
Harish
first of all to get WDA leave request, you need to activate the switch hcm_ess_wda_1 and then call this services in Define resources or services in Homepage if you are sticking with Homepage ie WD JAVA
with WD ABAP, we dont have homepage, its based on LPD_CUST ESS MENU and new roles are delivered, you need to verify if above works, or assign a new role with this services only then
Hi Siddharth,
The switch is active and also I have got the iview working fine after changing the applicaiton in Homepage framework and maintaining application configuration in component configuration of iview. I have added the iview to the same old role and this seems to be working fine now.
Thank you all for your support.
Regards,
Harish
