Reverse Confirmations in SRM not generating XML messages

We have a strange situation where some confirmation reversals (mvt 102 for ECC) performed in SRM do not generate an XML and the confirmations created have status I1017, and that's as far as they go.

There does not appear to be any common denominator, only that the reversals identified so far are text line items.... service line items work fine.... no distinct pattern has been observed.

Normal confirmations have no issues, only reversals.

We are running Classic scenario with SRM7 EHP3 SP level 15.

Any ideas?

Would you please check the KBA note 2278002 and see if the customizings have been done correctly?
