Working with version SAP 9.1 PL 08 and I find following behavior.
There are many row level UDFs on the PO, one of them is the ETA (Expected Time of Arrival) date for the quantity on the row.
This is populated after the vendor confirms the ETA for that row quantity.
In a rare case, the vendor delivers only part quantity (say 1 out of total 4 quantity) for Row 1 say. A Goods Receipt PO is created for Row 1 for a quantity of 1.
Then for the balance quantity, the vendor gives an ETA for future. However, unable to change the ETA date on Row 1 anymore. Once even a part quantity has been received for that PO, the full row becomes locked, but the Line Status (Row Status) still shows as open.
We need the UDFs to be available and active. In the Form settings, they show as active, but every row with a partial quantity received is locked, even though it is not greyed out, i.e. it is still highlighted white.
By the way, I am aware the Del. Date field remains editable, but there are many other UDFs (User defined fields) at row level that we need to be active and editable for partially received rows of PO.
Any ideas about this or any workaround for the process?
