Data from existing transactions appearing in new transactions

Hello to all,

We use CRM 7.1 EHP3, SP0010.

We experiencing instances where a user will go to create a new transaction (activity, lead, opportunity, etc.) and some of the fields are pre-populated with data from a previously created transaction. No copying of transactions is occurring, system places the data there on its own. It happens on random fields (standard and custom) and at random times. So it is very difficult to try and recreate to discover and fix the problem.

Has anyone experienced this issue?

Or have any thoughts on what may be happening?

Hi Jim,

Might it be Auto Save?

Try OFF and see you still have this issue.

At USER level the Parameter "WCF_AUTOSAVE_SWITCH" should be added to the User-Parameters table using TCode SU3. The values are:

- OFF: Feature will be turned off.

- ON: Feature will be turned on
